PERFORMANCES

Performances are essential for the development of our dancers; they build confidence, develop stage presence, and give students the opportunity to share their talent.  If you would like to schedule a performance, please call Clare at 617-254-6870 or send an e-mail to csullivanjig@hotmail.com.

St. Patrick’s Day

During the month of March, the Sullivan School shares our love of Irish Dance through performances at local nursing homes, schools, and community centers. This year, we performed at special events and parties, assisted living centers, nursing homes, senior centers, fundraisers, after-school programs, Newton City Hall, Russo’s, the Waltham Public Library, Watertown Mall, and several fabulous restaurants and pubs including Dunn-Gaherin’s Food & Spirits , The James Pub & Provisions in Needham, Joco’s Bar and Kitchen, Tommy Doyle’s Pub, Union Street Restaurant, and West Street Tavern.

Please contact Clare Sullivan if you’re interested in booking the Sullivan dancers to celebrate St. Patrick’s day at your business, organization, or event in 2021.

Special Performances

The Sullivan School performs across New England at community events, fundraisers, parties, schools, cultural celebrations, and corporate events. Dancers have performed for the President of Ireland and on local cable programs, commercials, and newscasts. The Sullivan School was featured on a Channel 7 spotlight special and in Ladies Home Journal magazine.

We also participate in local community outreach activities and enjoy performing in assisted living centers, nursing homes, and senior centers.

When hired, dancers ages 6-18 perform solo and group dances to Celtic music, entertaining large and small audiences with dances such as the hornpipe, jig, and reel. An optional component involves inviting volunteers from the audience to come on ‘stage’ to learn an Irish jig.
