INSTRUCTORS

Clare Sullivan, T.C.R.G.

Clare Sullivan is a four-time New England Champion Irish dancer and founder of the Sullivan School of Irish Dance. Clare has been teaching Irish Dance for 33 years. With a positive approach and commitment to child development, Clare has created a nurturing and family-oriented environment. As a result of this commitment and her desire to continue the Irish tradition, many tiny dancers remain part of the Sullivan family through their young adult years.

Using her experience from both Irish dance and ballet, Clare transforms Irish culture into choreographed dance. And, as a nurse, Clare has been influential in providing structured sports injury prevention techniques for the growth and development of dancers.

Kerilyn Amedio

Kerilyn, a Watertown native, began dancing with Clare at the age of two. What had started out as a hobby, soon turned into an undeniable love and passion for dance. Not only has dance been an avid part of her life; but, Clare has been an influential mentor and friend in the many years they have spent together. Clare has provided her with far more than just dance steps; she has given her important tools for success both in the studio and outside of it.

After assisting with classes since 2006, Kerilyn has made the decision that she will take her T.C.R.G exam to become a certified teacher. Teaching has proven to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her life. As a competitive athlete and dancer she holds high, yet manageable, expectations of all the students she teaches. The most rewarding part of teaching is seeing students succeed, whether it be winning competitions regularly, or mastering their hardest steps, the triumph and excitement that overcomes them is priceless.
